We’ve heard it loud and clear — even the kiddos are tired of the snow and ice (and honestly, same). While we’d love to be back in classrooms, Catawba County Schools will continue remote instruction on Friday, January 30.

Temperatures today still haven’t climbed above 30 degrees, and the ongoing melt-and-refreeze cycle is keeping many secondary roads and bus routes slick and unsafe across the county.
We’re also keeping a close eye on the weekend forecast, which includes the possibility of snow, and will share updates as soon as we can.
